Any terms and conditions that you propose or object to are subject to our written consent. By placing an order with us, it is deemed that you have read, understood and agreed to our Terms and Conditions.

We reserve the right to add, delete or amend these Terms and Conditions without prior written notice at any time, at our sole discretion. Please read the TandC carefully before placing any orders on, and check back often. We recommend you should keep a copy of the TandC for future reference. Any changes made after you have placed an order will not affect that order unless we are required to make the change by law. If you do not agree to any change to the TandC then you must immediately stop using the Site.

1. Order Conditions

Eligibility to Purchase

In order to make purchases on the Site you will be required to provide your personal details. In particular, you must provide your real name, phone number, e-mail address and other requested information as indicated. Furthermore, you will be required to provide payment details that you represent and warrant are both valid and correct and you confirm that you are the person referred to in the Billing information provided.  You are of course free to share any additional information you want with us (such as your nickname, any pet stories or playlists)!

The Site is available only to individuals and others who meet SEPTIEME ETAGE terms of eligibility, who have been issued a valid credit/debit card by a bank acceptable to the credit card service provider of SEPTIEME ETAGE, whose applications are acceptable SEPTIEME ETAGE and who have authorized SEPTIEME ETAGE to process a charge or charges on their credit/debit card in the amount of the total purchase price for the merchandise which they purchase. SEPTIEME ETAGE reserves the right to restrict multiple quantities of an item being shipped to any one customer or postal address.

By making an offer to purchase merchandise, you expressly authorize our credit card service provider to perform credit checks, and where SEPTIEME ETAGE and the credit card service provider feels necessary, to transmit or to obtain information (including any updated information) about you to or from third parties, including but not limited to your credit/debit card number or credit reports to authenticate your identity, to validate your credit/debit card, to obtain an initial credit/debit card authorization and to authorize individual purchase transactions.

Furthermore, you agree that or credit card service provider may use Personal Information provided by you in order to conduct appropriate anti fraud checks. Personal Information that you provide may be disclosed to a credit reference or fraud prevention agency, which may keep a record of that information. All of these steps are ways to ensure that you can shop with us without any worries – it is hard enough to get that perfect pair of shoes.

SEPTIEME ETAGE offers products for sale that are in stock and available for dispatch from our store. Please note that we carry the merchandise in our nomadic pop-ups, and that we try to update our inventories once a day. All orders are sold on a first come, first served basis and are subject to acceptance and availability. We will only process your order if the item is available and is being shipped to you.

Please note that items in your shopping basket are not reserved and may be purchased by other customers grazing through our racks.

SEPTIEME ETAGE will store a record of your transactions for a minimum of one year.

Pricing Policy

SEPTIEME ETAGE is headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland, and so all our transactions are in Swiss Francs.

If you are a customer whose credit/debit card is not denominated in Swiss Francs, the final price will be calculated in accordance with the applicable exchange rate on the day your card issuer processes the transaction.   

Prices shown on the site are in Swiss Francs and are inclusive of 7.7% Swiss VAT. If you are buying in Switzerland you will incur Swiss VAT (7.7%) and 12 Swiss Francs carriage costs (as indicated under SHIPPING). If you are buying from outside Switzerland you will incur Swiss VAT though WE will incur the VAT of the country we are shipping your order to. You will also incur carriage costs.

For a selected list of countries we offer shipping by Federal Express at a flat rate, with all duties and customs fees covered - you only pay the flat shipping fee (as indicated under SHIPPING).

If your country does not show up on our drop down menu at checkout, please email us at, and we will have the item shipped by another carrier, in which case you will be charged by these companies directly, including VAT and any taxes, duties, import fees or customs fees charged by your local government. As customs policies vary widely by country, we cannot anticipate what these charges will be and are not responsible for any taxes, duties, import fees or customs fees levied once the merchandise reaches your country. Please contact your local government or post office for more information.

Your order will be processed as soon as possible: we try our very best to ship within 48 hours unless it is a custom order.

Acceptance of Your Order

Once you have made your choice and your order has been placed, you will receive an email acknowledging the details of your order. This email is NOT an acceptance of your order, just a confirmation that we have received it.

Unless you cancel your order, acceptance of your order and completion of the contract between you and SEPTIEME ETAGE will be completed when we email you to confirm the goods have been dispatched. The sale contract is therefore concluded in Geneva, Switzerland and the language of the contract is English.

We reserve the right not to accept your order in the event, for example, that we are unable to obtain authorization for payment, that shipping restrictions apply to a particular item, that the item ordered is out of stock or does not satisfy our quality control standards and is withdrawn, or that you do not meet the eligibility criteria set out within the TandC.

We may also refuse to process and therefore accept a transaction for any reason or refuse service to anyone at any time at our sole discretion. We will not be liable to you or any third party by reason of our withdrawing any merchandise from the Site whether or not that merchandise has been sold, removing, screening or editing any materials or content on the Site, refusing to accept a transaction or unwinding or suspending any transaction after processing has begun.


Payment can be made by Visa, MasterCard, American Express cards and any other methods which may be clearly advertised on the Site from time to time. Payment will be debited and cleared from your account upon completion of the packing of your order by SEPTIEME ETAGE. You confirm that the credit/debit card that is being used is yours or that you have been specifically authorized by the owner of the credit/debit card to use it. All credit/debit card holders are subject to validation checks and authorization by the card issuer. If the issuer of your payment card refuses to authorize payment to SEPTIEME ETAGE, we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery.

All credit/debit card transactions on this site are processed using OGONE, a secure online payment gateway that encrypts your card details in a secure host environment. The Ogone payment system ( offers an optimal level of security in your online transactions. All billing information you provide is encrypted according to the SSL protocol. It can not be intercepted, detected, or used by third parties, and is not stored in our systems. 

Ogone is a technical service and does not handle refund requests. All refund requests must be addressed to SEPTIEME ETAGE and/or your card issuer.

We will take reasonable care, in so far as it is in our power to do so, to keep the details of your order and payment secure, but in the absence of negligence on our part we cannot be held liable for any loss you may suffer if a third party procures unauthorized access to any data you provide when accessing or ordering from the Site.


Website Security

The SEPTIEME ETAGE online store uses the Ogone e-Commerce solution, which is recognized by some of the main financial operators. The solution has been developed so that you can make payments in a user-friendly environment with optimal security and privacy. Ogone e-Commerce is the payment solution used by several thousand online business websites. You’ll recognize these sites where you see Payment secured by Ogone, on the payment page. A payment protocol has been implemented for your security: ‘3D Secure’ provides a more secure authentication of the payment card holder for payments made on our site, and protects the internet user against the fraudulent use of his/her card. This authentication is based on a model comprising 3 participants (hence the name 3D Secure), which are:

- The retailer

- The bank

- The payment card system.

When you make your payment, you will be asked to follow an identification process in order to confirm the payment request. The information requested during the identification process varies depending on which bank issued the card: PIN number, date of birth, etc. In the event of a problem with the 3D Secure payment, please contact the organization that issued your payment card.


Your order will be processed as soon as possible. However, if your order has been placed outside of working hours, it will be processed on the next business day. Our business hours are from 2 pm to 7 pm (GMT) Monday; 10.30 am to 7pm (GMT) Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday; 12 pm to 8 pm (GMT) Thursday; 10:30 am to 6 pm (GMT) Saturday (excluding public holidays)

2. Returns and Exchanges


SEPTIEME ETAGE will accept justified returns of non-SALE items for a refund or store credit (at your election), for all items, for the cost of return shipping. Outbound shipping costs charged on your order placement will not be refunded. See costs for Shipping and Returns.

We can exchange items for a different size based on stock availability only. If you wish to exchange your item for an alternative product, we suggest that you return it for a store credit and purchase the new item separately.
If you are based outside of Switzerland, however, you will be required to pay sales taxes and duties on this item again.

Receiving Your RMA

If you wish to return an item, a Returns Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number should be requested online within seven days of receiving your order. A RMA should be requested as follows:

    * Click on the “RETURN FORM  link and choose the reason why you want send your item(s) back. If an item is faulty, please provide details why.
    * To request a refund, select how you would like to be credited. This needs to match the original payment method used. Please note, store credit is valid for one year from issue date.
    * Check the box to agree with our Returns Policy. You will then receive an email containing your RMA number which is valid for 7 working days.

Returning Your Purchase

We recommend that items are returned to us via TNT/UPS/Federal Express to ensure that they are protected and insured during transit. You can book a collection with the above carriers, visiting / / and selecting your country. Please complete your returns proforma invoice with your RMA number (and fill in the carrier air waybill if applicable) and sign it. Please leave your package open until the driver has checked the contents. You will be notified by email once your return has been received and processed.

Although this is our recommended returns service, you may return the goods by any secure means, although this will always be at your cost (save in the case of proven faulty goods). Please note that we may not accept liability for goods that are not returned via the designated carriers.

Receiving a Refund

Your refund will either be credited to the original purchaser's credit/debit card, or SEPTIEME ETAGE account, and will exclude the cost of shipping and charges such as customs, duties, and VAT (with the exception of faulty items), which we deduct to cover the cost of our return service.

If your order has been sent to a destination within Switzerland, all VAT will be refunded. Outside Switzerland, customs duties and sales taxes are non-refundable through SEPTIEME ETAGE. However, you may be able to recover these by contacting your local customs bureau directly.

Important information

Please return items for exchange or refund within 7 days of receiving your RMA number. We recommend that you send all items you wish to return from an order in the same shipment to ensure your return is processed as quickly as possible. Please note that if you return items from the same order in multiple shipments, you will be charged a return cost per shipment. Items should be returned in their original packaging to ensure they are adequately protected in transit. Shoe boxes should also be protected as they are considered part of the product, and your return may not be accepted if the box is damaged.

Items should be returned unused and unwashed, and with all SEPTIEME ETAGE and designer garment tags still attached. Returns that are damaged or soiled may not be accepted and may be sent back to the customer and/or a refund refused. Where provided, belts and any designer packaging such as authenticity cards, dust bags and leather tags should be included with your return. Please email if any of your purchases have been delivered without SEPTIEME ETAGE tags.

All items returned should have a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number to allow easy identification and prompt processing. Unidentified returns may be returned to the sender.


Late Returns : Please seek to return items within 7 days of the date of your RMA request. Returns outside these timeframes may be accepted at the discretion of SEPTIEME ETAGE, depending on the circumstances may only be refunded as a store credit. Please note that RMA numbers requested after seven days after dispatch will be granted at our discretion.

Shoes: All shoes should be tried on a carpeted surface before wear.

Lingerie & swimwear: Lingerie, swimming costumes and bikini bottoms should be tried on over underwear, without removing the protective adhesive strip. Returns may not be accepted if this strip has been removed or if items are soiled, and may be sent back to the customer.

Faulty goods: Goods are faulty if they are received damaged or where a manufacturing fault occurs within six months of purchase. Please note that Sale items are not returnable, and items that are damaged as a result of normal wear and tear are not considered to be faulty.

If you would like to exchange a faulty item (instead of obtaining a refund), please be aware that we can only replace it for the same product in the same size, subject to availability. Where possible, we will offer to repair faulty items. If it cannot be repaired or the same product is not available, you are entitled to a full refund.

The flat shipping rates mean that we cover all customs and duties, you are however being charged for your country's VAT rate at checkout. This also enables you to send a gift to someone without them being charged any surprise fees upon arrival. More Important Information

All orders require a signature upon receipt.

We are unable to redirect orders once items have been dispatched, so please ensure there is someone who can sign for your order at the specified shipping address

First Time Orders

For your security, please be aware that first-time orders can only be shipped to the cardholder's billing address or a corporate work address which we are able to verify independently. To avoid delays to your order, please ensure that your billing address matches the address on your card statement, and that the cardholder's name is written as it appears on the card. Please also ensure that your contact details are filled in accurately, so that we can contact you if necessary.

Tracking your order

You can check the current status of your shipment by signing into and simply type in your tracking number which we email to you after ordering and it will track the shipment for you.


Insurance and Delivery

SEPTIEME ETAGE insures each purchase during the time it is in transit until it is delivered to your specified delivery address. We require a signature for any goods delivered, at which point responsibility for your purchased goods passes to you. If you have specified a recipient who is not you for delivery purposes (for example as a gift) then you accept that evidence of a signature by them (or at that delivery address) is evidence of delivery and fulfillment by SEPTIEME ETAGE and transfer of responsibility in the same way.

Please note that we aim to dispatch all orders within 48 hours. Estimated delivery times are to be used as a guide only and commence from the date of dispatch, SEPTIEME ETAGE or the chosen shipping company are not responsible for any delays caused by destination customs clearance processes.

Items returned to us using our approved delivery carriers ( TNT/UPS/Federal Express) are also insured. 
You must request an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) and use the returns documentation included in your package.

We have measured each piece on this site for you in centimeters, since fits can vary depending on the designer, the delivery, and their current patternmaker and we also indicate any particularities about the fit. If SEPTIEME ETAGE breaches the TandC we shall only be liable for losses which are direct losses and a reasonably foreseeable consequence of such a breach. Losses are foreseeable where, for example, they could be contemplated by you and SEPTIEME ETAGE at the time of you placing your order, and SEPTIEME ETAGE dispatching your order. We shall only be liable for losses up to the total value of goods purchased.

We are not responsible for losses not caused by our breach or negligence, indirect losses which are a side effect of the main loss or damage and which are not reasonably foreseeable by you and us (for example, loss of profits or loss of opportunity).

7. Privacy Policy

We value your privacy. We do not burst in when you are getting changed, and we neither rent, sell, or share personal information about you with outside companies or third parties except to provide the best possible service, when we have your permission, or under the following circumstances:
We use other third parties such as a shipping company to fulfill orders, a credit card processing company to bill you for goods sold on our website, and an email service provider to send out emails on our behalf. When you make a purchase on our website or sign up for our email list, we will share the necessary amount of personally identifiable information as necessary for the third party to provide that service, including your name, address, credit card information and email address. These third parties are prohibited from using your personally identifiable information for promotional purposes.

We encourage you to sign-up for our e-mailing list. These letters provide you with advanced notice of store sales, new merchandise, and other store-related events. We love you and want you to love us, so we will only come knocking if we have something thrilling to share with you - such as invitations to our events, sales, or REALLY exciting surprises.

The GDPR Blablabla
Our site is run by Shopify. As of May 25th, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) will take effect. The GDPR is the European Union's new data privacy law which impacts how all companies (big and small) collect and handle personal data about their European customers.

Because we think it's important that you trust in our data protection practices, we wanted to share the specific steps Shopify has taken to prepare for the GDPR.
